Don’t you just love that happy smile? It was such fun painting Charlie’s portrait which was commissioned by his “grandparents”. I really enjoyed trying to capture the different textures in his fur, from the straight hair around his face to the soft waviness of his body coat. A little bit of poodle and a dash of golden retriever for sure. His painting is now in its new home, up in Canada where he lives with his “folks”.
