This is the final portrait, completed with a lot of love for my niece. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out–I wanted a certain softness to come through, and working in oils helped that.
Buck may have been a bit less impressed. I’ve enjoyed painting a another type of pet from the dogs I typically paint–so if any of you have a cat you’d like immortalized, please keep me in mind 🙂
