Finished Painting of a Schnauzer

Commissioned Painting of Sassy by Hope Lane, 8″ x 10″ acrylic

This is Stella’s finished portrait–In this final stage, I’ve added lots of small highlighted hairs with a very tiny brush trying to get the reflective silvery feeling in her fur. The background is made of alternating transparent glazes of greens and yellows to get the glow.
