Finished Portrait of a Cavalier

This is the finished memorial painting of Katey, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Many of my clients come to me when a pet they have loved has passed on. As a pet “parent” myself, I have loved and lost my own dogs, and understand just how sad this can make you feel. So when I’m working on a rainbow bridge painting–I feel very connected to the process and to the importance the painting will have to my client. Hopefully this translates into a very special portrait as I think this one of Katey is.
