Finished Portrait of a Chocolate Lab

This is the finished painting of Bear, the Chocolate Labrador Retriever. I really enjoyed the challenge of placing him in autumn landscape. When a painting is larger like this one, 24″ x 18″, it allows a greater focus on the background as well as offering more scope in painting the subject.
