Halfway Through Painting A Schnoodle named Kole

One of the very nicest things about being a pet portrait artist is when a previous client comes back to me for another painting. A few years ago I painted a lovely Cavalier named Katey. Because of that painting, I received a commission to paint Kole, a Schnoodle and Kendall, an Aussiepoo.

So I’ll be painting two 12″ x 12″ paintings and they should work together when hung on a wall. Kole who is black and dark gray will be a bit more challenging, so as I usually do, I tackled the harder painting first. I forgot to take an early photo so this is the painting of Kole about halfway through.
