Shih Tzu Portrait Continues
I seem to be working this painting from top to bottom which isn’t always the case. Quinn’s face is important in this painting so I concentrated on keeping the feeling of the way his hair grows, and trying to capture his rather serious expression. Shih Tzu eyes are very distinct, and I’ve painted them here in more detail than the rest of the portrait at this point. I’ve also blocked in the sweater’s dark and light areas.

Great job. Small dogs are so hard because they already look cartoonish. Brava
