This is the first stage of a recent painting of a Havanese. I was asked to create a portrait of a very special Grand-dog named Ringo by one of my friends. He lives in NYC with his family, and is loved by them all. The painting will be an 8″ x 10″. This was the end result of the first layer of painting. The paint was thinned down acrylic and you can still see the pencil sketch underneath if you try.
