A few years ago, I was asked to paint a portrait of Jackson, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who had just passed away. Recently Jackson’s humans contacted me again to paint a portrait of their new Cavalier pup, Jasper. It always makes me super happy when clients return for a second painting. What better compliment can there be? Jackson had been rather solemn looking but Jasper was a much younger dog–he could be a little mischief maker with a lot of spunk and energy.
My photo shows a cross-section of what the original black and white drawing looked like contrasted with the first stage of painting.
I just love your work! You are so talented. This is gorgeous.
You are so gifted. Very nice. I would love to create like that. I’m afraid my eyesight and patience are not the best. Keep sharing.
