Meet cute little Theodore, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. His photo was the winner of my free portrait photo contest earlier this year.
He loves to go outside–and his humans joke “that he is the world’s tiniest hunting dog because he races out the door to chase rabbits, birds, squirrels, and at the beach, crabs!” This sketch was a pencil drawing I made and then scanned and merged with digital color to give a very good idea of what the finished painting will look like. With a face like this–I’m looking forward to the finished painting.
