I’ve been a poor poster for the past few weeks as I’m painting away to get all my Christmas commissions done. Since those are all surprises, I’m posting instead a new painting I completed recently of an adorable little King Charles Cavalier spaniel. I couldn’t resist painting the lovely expression on this sweet face. I’ve used a loose, expressive style of brushwork for a spontaneous expressive feeling.
